Do you like rich, dark, velvety coffee? Do you like a good breakfast? If you answered 'yes' to any of these questions, then you must consider this place if you're staying downtown.  The place is bright and sunny, and the staff is super welcoming to you.

I was recovering from the previous day of all-you-can-drink beer tours, so the coffee couldn't have come at a better time. And it was gyuuuuuuoooooood.

I ordered on the healthy side by going with granola crunch pancake.  Oh wait, I had the hashbrowns, too.  These were absolutely splendid.  My hubby went for the chrorizo hash and practically licked the plate clean.  Will we go back? Absolutely.

This was another long time bookmark that I finally got over to, my last try for lunch had no parking so I felt at 6:50 am on Saturday I would find parking and I did.

The place is very cool looking and colorful with nice black/red walls and nice tables/booths/chairs. At 7am I was the only person in the place so I had no service issues. The menu has lots of good looking items but the biscuits and gravy sounded good so that's what I ordered. I just love biscuits smothered in sausage gravy and when I see one on a menu I usually order it.

My food came quick and my first impression was that they were a little skimpy on the sausage gravy because it just barely covered the biscuits with very little over flow on the plate and it was one biscuit cut in half, skimpy again.

My eggs were cooked perfect sunny side up. The biscuit was very fresh and good, perfect for the biscuit and gravy. The sausage gravy was ok and the sausage taste really came through but after I chopped the whole thing up it was on the dry side because it needed just a little more gravy. The sausage gravy didn't have that southern flavor to match the good biscuit flavor but thats probably not what they are going for, it's their version of sausage gravy.

I wouldn't let today's visit stop me from going back and trying some more of the menu because the menu looks good.

Ordered delivery of beer cheese soup, milwaukean omelette and a side of pancakes. The portions were very generous and the quality of the food was pretty good.

Beer cheese soup had a strong taste of beer and it was interestingly good. It was essentially melted cheddar cheese with beer. Instead of savoring it like a soup, I used it as a dipping sauce for toast. Milwaukean omelette was delicious! The four egg omelettes were humongous! I bet you won't get hungry until dinner time. Side of pancakes were well made and the portion size was more than the size of a side.

We were looking for a place to grab brunch and found this place conveniently located by our hotel. The place seemed more like a sports bar, than a breakfast/brunch place. The menu offered pretty a standard brunch menu. Their island mimosa was pretty pricey, but delicious. I ended up building my own burrito with chorizo and pepperjack cheese all wrapped in a salsa tortilla. The burrito offered no flavor and was ridiculously priced. This is a definite pass.

I came to BaB with four teenage boys, a toddler, and an elder, without reservations. I had my hands full. The baby got his fruit and juice immediately before he got cranky. The hostess warmly chatted with us about our home state. The wait staff was attentive, prompt, and so nice that I wish we had eaten all of our meals there that weekend. The food was excellent. Loved the corned beef hash.
